Restaurant Tajine in Aachen

Reasonable portions!

EDIT: sadly, since the lock-down lite started again, the staff put up a poster promoting the views of the "Querdenken 711"-group. for me this instantly disqualifies this restaurant from recommendations. for me the restaurant used to be: Cozy Restaurant with kind and helpful waiting staff. Explained what the dishes were for someone who never had marokkan food before. Portion size was perfect and the meat just melted on my tongue. I will absolutely return! =)

Finally tried it, we had veal tajine and Atlas tajine with lamb and it was extremely tasty. We will definitely come more often. Also nicely decorated and very nice people.

Very good choice if you are looking for special taste

If the ratings are right as people all write ....... The bread is apparently overpriced according to the taste and I don't even get a bill. The people are also rude and I would say with the cleanliness in this shop not everything the meat was tough and the tajine is not as you know it, so people don't think I can recommend this shop then rather go to one good middle-class cuisine has nothing to do with oriental cuisine, that's not it.

We were there for the first time and have never been to Moroccan food before. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We ate the starter, main course and desert and were delighted with the freshness and taste of all dishes. The tajine with veal is particularly recommended. The mint tea also tasted good and went well with dessert. I am sure that we were not there for the last time and I wish the Tajine good luck and all the best. Thank you for the evening!

Very friendly welcome and service. The portions are decent and the food is delicious (lamb chops and merguez highly recommended). My wife and I felt very comfortable and will definitely eat here more often.

It is a very cozy and very hospitable place. The kitchen is great. Not over seasoned, so you can taste every single component. The portions fill you up, but you don't overeat yourself. Price / performance ratio is top. The staff, as well as the boss super nice.

Always worth a visit. Great food, the tea is a MUST, great atmosphere, friendly service. Nice that there is such a great place in Aachen again. Highly recommend it to everyone.

With his own restaurant, Rida fulfilled a long-cherished wish and I have to say that he succeeded. The restaurant is optically a little fairy tale from a thousand and one nights. The kitchen is typical of his home country. We always tasted excellent and the prices are fair. A third visit to the restaurant is due.

Can fully confirm the positive reviews. Food is very good. If anything, the greeting from the kitchen could be a little more sophisticated. We all had tagines and it was great. The dessert is also highly recommended. Surprisingly easy for me. As is typical for Morocco, wine is very neat in terms of price-performance ratio. The service is very friendly, but also professional. The ordered wine is presented before opening, a test sip is poured in first and the pouring is done very skillfully. Small deduction here only for the simple paper napkins.

Food was horrible. Took them ages to bring the starter, food without taste... waste of time and money . Not recommendable at all
